Our story is one of ups and down’s, successes, and failures. An honest story of hard work and quality. It starts on a farm nestled in the mountains over nearly 100 years ago. It is a story about an idea passed hand to hand, from old to young, about believing that being part of nature is not just words – that it is something quantifiable, tangible that it has meaning. That it is something worth protecting.
One of our focuses is to maintain the use of traditional methods and traditional materials, with some modern influences to improve the overall usability or manage heavy work that can potentially harm our craftsmen and women.
Helle knives are made to accompany you on your adventures wherever they may take you. They are tools made to be used and will work best if maintained and treated with correct.
We make Scandinavian knives for the outdoors. Every since 1932 Helle’s goal has been to make beautiful and functional tools that you can wear with pride and that will serve you right when needed.
Each Helle knife come with what we call a lifetime warranty matching the expected lifetime on the products. Using it the right way and maintaining it has a direct effect on the products lifetime.
